Mushoku Tensei just has such an immersive feel to it. Loved meeting Gal Farion and his admission to being no where near as strong as Orsted. Loving the setups for Season 3!

Loving the Eris arc

A genuinely fantastic episode, probably because there was no focus on the romance, and because we honed in on what works - human struggle and a fantasy land which is rich and well developed. I always say that when this series is good, it's really good, and when it's bad, it's really bad; this episode proves the former true. Nanahoshi was giving me chills with her scene, and I feel really excited about the plot that's unravelling right now. It just sucks that it took two thirds of the season for deeper plot to kick in.

The Pursena and Lilia duel was as funny as I remember. Can't wait to see how they animate Perugius' fortress

Yet another amazing world building episode while still giving the audience a lot to enjoy from. Never would you expect to look back to Eris training arc, most show would just show the training arc while eris is fighting a monster in the future. With Mushoku you can't help and just cry "I need more!". Holding back on reading the novel has been one hard urge. The copium of Nina was funny in the beginning, and yet again, Mushoku prove that every character is a character. They behave and learn and grow. That's how you get dynamic interesting relationship in your story.

Welcome back peak Isekai. Shows depicting hardwork as the main result of reward will always feel good, this is why Mushoku stands above all else. Rudues isnt powerful because his reincarnation give his unique super power, at most he was given early knowledge and direction, he gain his power through hardwork and practice. The same for Eris, she is not naturally gifted, she earned everything through lessons with Ghislaine, through sheer hardwork, this is something most isekai forgets to potray. Its not about being born or made special, its about becoming special,

Zanoba charging straight at Atofe was the best animated thing I've seen all season. That man is built different and no amount of figurine talk can take that away from him

Atofe being this menacing demon king who radiates pure dread until she opens her mouth and starts acting like a spoiled toddler is genuinely funny. The design and aura say apex predator but the brain says rock. Kalman saying he would is sending me

The way Perugius just bisected that captain like it was nothing then launched Atofe into the horizon with those dragon gates. I NEED to know the full history between him and Kal now because that was pure power

Perugius showing up like he owns the place and slicing that captain in half with a wave of his hand was so smooth I actually laughed. Then he shoots Atofe into the next galaxy with those dragon gates. This man is not real.

Zanoba holding Atofe down while spitting blood was the scene of the night. That guy gets no respect in this fandom but he literally wrestled a Demon King so his wife could stay unburnt. Absolute madman.

Atofe is genuinely terrifying and also a complete idiot at the same time and I love her for it. That swirly eye animation needs to be a sticker. Also I can't stop thinking about Moore losing his head mid-sentence like it was nothing.

That sequence where Rudeus uses Disturb Magic to stop the captain's fire spell then freezes the whole squad with ice. Hes running on fumes and still out here thinking three moves ahead. The Electric magic shock after that was pure desperation and it showed

I was worried this season dipped after those review bombings but Studio Bind clearly saved the budget for the arc climax. The courtyard battle with the electric purple lightning filling the sky and the raw speed of Atofe's swordplay were gorgeous. Perugius showing up at the very end with his spectral dragons made the whole thing feel like a proper fantasy showdown. Nanahoshi finally getting her cure after all this setup felt earned. The relief on Rudeus's face under the stars was the closure I needed before the storm that is Turning Point 4

The 'Kal' line threw me. Perugius refusing to kill Atofe out of a promise to someone named Kal has sent me down a lore rabbit hole all night. North God Kalman connections are wild. This show drops one line and the entire community loses it

Atofe drinking all the sake and Kishirika hiding in the dirt like a gremlin before scuttling off into the desert. This show knows exactly when to be ridiculous and when to be terrifying. The whiplash between those two moods is insane

I get that the LN readers wanted Rudeus to look more calculating but honestly the visual storytelling worked for me. Him collapsing exhausted and watching helplessly as the captain closed in sold the power gap way harder than any inner monologue could

The Perugius entrance gave me chills. Dude steps out of a glowing circle and bisects the captain with a flick of his hand. Then those dragon gates just deleted Atofe from existence. Once you see that power level you understand why Rudeus was terrified

Cliff grabbing Atofe like that was so stupid and so brave at once. That whole sequence where he created the opening for Rudeus and Elinalise was him finally being the mage he always wanted to be. Best Cliff episode no question

TURNING POINT 4. Next episode. I already know my heart is not ready. First the Teleportation Incident now this. The community is going insane and I am right there with them. Whatever happens I just know its going to be brutal
