Well, that episode was gross and disturbing. Not my cup of tea, but the story is still good, just needed to cover my eyes and remove the scene from my memory.

This was a surreal, creepy and beautiful episode, all at the same time. I'd even go as far as saying it's one of the best in this series. Everything from the moment she met Ginko and narrated her story, I was thoroughly engrossed. This is Mushishi at its best.

It's a bit creepy seeing the body horror. But this story is quite unique because Amane's father's sincerity and Amane's patience with everything that happens are very palpable.
