The episode has a heavy atmosphere as the situation isn't really ideal for the people involved, but it's not that creepy, just normal.
A pleasant concept and episode. Copper colored, even. A classic story that encompasses everything Mushishi - with the Mushi in this episode being more like a disease. Despite the girls condition, it managed to wrap up consistently.
It was so sad when Tetsu got hurt. I started to panic and cry like Shige. The story was mind blowing and unpredictable. It was so cool.
