Disclaimer: Mushishi is an anime with a very slow and calm pace, so it’s super fitting for anyone looking to take a break from hectic or action-packed series. In this episode, we get another dive into Ginko's past, which is always so fascinating. As usual, Mushishi never fails to bring that mystical, zen, and serene vibe definitely a great watch for anyone who loves these types of atmospheric, supernatural shows deeply rooted in traditional Japanese lore.
Episode 1 is a beautifully atmospheric return to Mushishi. The quiet storytelling, breathtaking scenery, and thought-provoking themes remind me why this series is one of anime's finest. Ginko's journey feels as captivating and timeless as ever.
The very slow-burn pacing and lack of intense action might make this episode feel boring for viewers who prefer fast-paced anime.
