EPISODE CONTEXT
Mouse has been using its middle episodes to spotlight each of Sorata's three assistants, and this episode follows the same pattern established in episode four's focus on Mei Momozono. Sitting at the midpoint of the 12-episode run, 'Target is Hazuki' completes the character-introduction phase of the series and sets the stage for the back half, where the full team dynamic — now properly established — can be put to work in more ensemble-driven stories.
