By day, Sorata Muon is a mild-mannered college art teacher, and by night he's the legendary master thief 'Mouse' — a title his family has held for 400 years. What makes him different from your typical gentleman thief is that he actually calls the cops before each heist, tells them exactly what he's stealing, and then walks away with it anyway. The authorities never stand a chance. Helping him pull off these ridiculous capers are three female colleagues — a chemistry teacher, a biology instructor, and a PE teacher — who are just as committed to chasing Sorata romantically as they are to the heists themselves. The whole dynamic leans into comedy as much as action, and the show clearly knows it's not taking itself seriously. If you've seen D.N.Angel and liked the whole 'secret thief with a double life' setup but wanted it looser and more chaotic, Mouse scratches a similar itch. Fans of Agent AiKa will also recognize the ecchi-comedy energy here. It's 12 episodes from Studio Deen and based on a manga by Satoru Akahori, who has a very specific formula — harem dynamics, skimpy outfits, and breezy action — and this show runs with it without pretending otherwise. Just go in knowing it's a lighthearted, sometimes absurd caper comedy with a harem wrapper. That's the whole deal, and it's comfortable with being exactly that.
