Dang, a backstory in the second episode already? That was unique. 😆 I really liked how this episode was laid out. The storyline progressed smoothly, and the emotions it wanted to convey really nailed it, lol. It got me annoyed. Well done!

Well, this was very unusual, getting a backstory as early as the second episode, lol. But this was already really good. The pacing was great, though it got a little confusing with the timeline transitions between scenes. They could've made it a bit clearer.

Really liked this episode so far. I could relate to Albert's inner conflict. The whole vibe of this episode felt like a setup or a turning point that led to the present timeline. Honestly, it was just really intriguing.

An introduction to a character that has a scene on the first episode, Albert. Once again, even if we do get some backstory and characterization for Moriarty, the fact he can make a cough medicine and master it enough to teach it to an adult, had me curious on where he learn things, especially with his background. I do like the subtlity of Albert's writing in this episode. Not everything has to be said outright. But something about the pacing feels off, in my opinion, but I couldn't point it out as of now. But this is an good episode, I do hope they continue this plotline and doesn't jump back to the present yet.

Tengo altas expectativas

this ep 2 hits different when you realize it's basically the origin of the story. way heavier on the backstory and class politics than ep 1 so the pacing slows down a bit, hmmm the brother stuff especially hits too but still slower burn but don't you dare skip this one

Albert Moriarty discovers the terrible secret of the two orphan brothers living under his roof. Their hatred for the corrupt nobility runs deep. As he learns their vision for changing society, Albert realizes he may have found the partners he needs.
