Roberto shoots Eva in the leg and leaves her to die. Tenma comes back ANYWAY. Dieter's goodness vs Roberto's cruelty is such a clean contrast. ABSOLUTELY tense from start to finish!!

A bleak but powerful episode that pushes the story forward. The tension keeps building as events hint at bigger confrontations ahead. What stands out most is Tenma’s compassion, showing that even in a brutal situation, he still chooses humanity.

I really like how well this episode showcases Monster and its subtle character development. Eva has more depth, is less perfect, and feels like a real person in this show. There are no big explosions here, but it gives opportunity for some amazing character development.
