The opening and animation are really good, and the voice acting is great too. The introduction for Renge was quite adorable, it reminded me quite a bit of K-on. There's way too much going on, though. The battle scenes feel slightly out of place, with all the camera angle movement and the choppy CGI. The pacing is also a bit erratic. It picks up considerably during the first half and mellows down quite a bit during the second half. I'm guessing this is not the type of anime you might wanna watch if you crave consistent pacing and airtight logic. More like the kinda anime where you stop trying to reason with things, sit back and embrace it for what it is.

Alright, where do I begin? This was a bit of a tough watch. First off, major crazy opening - feels like it belongs to a completely different show entirely. I don't need to expand on the studio and its animation because everyone knows it by now, it's super flashy (and actually helps with some scenes). The characters themselves aren't too bad so far but it's the story and setting that is lacking right from the get-go. The only thing I got out of it was a big cooking segment - not very interesting if I'm being honest. Which is fine, but that doesn't seem to be the focus of the show. Let's see if it gets better or not.

Renge look's like the young girl version to all main characters she got the attention of the viewer because of his appeal and sweet side.
