Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's matchmaking antics between Sazaku and Ryunosuke, Episode 4 pivots inward, using comedic character work to deepen the bonds within the Mobile Shinsengumi before the season's larger challenges take shape. Sitting at the one-third mark of a 13-episode run, this episode functions as connective tissue, consolidating relationships and building familiarity with the core cast. The groundwork laid here with Ryunosuke's personal growth is likely to pay off as the team faces more demanding adventures in the episodes ahead.
