EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the intense 'Ple and Axis' stretch where Judau infiltrated Axis to rescue his sister, episode 20 deliberately pumps the brakes at the season's near-midpoint to develop the supporting cast during a resupply stopover at Granada. It serves as the first half of a two-part character arc for Torres and Cecilia, setting up personal stakes that will resolve in episode 21's 'Tearful Cecillia (Part II).' This breather repositions the series emotionally before the back half of its 47-episode run ramps the conflict back up.
