Good pacing! Everyone is doing their part well—Mika and Akihiro with their training, and Orga and Biscuit dealing with the political stuff. Remember, they're just kids facing an adult world, and they're doing really well

The tactical resolution here is so satisfying. It highlights how the kids have to use unconventional, desperate methods to prove their worth to an adult world that views them as disposable. Really strong character dynamics.

Episode Context

Coming off the tense standoff with the Turbines in episode 7, this eighth episode pivots from combat to diplomacy as Tekkadan works to formalize their relationship with Teiwaz, a critical step in their long journey toward Earth. It functions as a bridge episode roughly one-third into the season, deepening character relationships and political groundwork that directly feeds into the pivotal 'Sakazuki' negotiations ahead.
