This episode is kinda hard to watch. The violence, the betrayal from someone you trusted the most—it really hits hard. For those who watch it, knew that character seemed fishy from the start, and the truth is finally revealed in this episode. Great buildup for the next episode!

This one is tough. Seeing the brutality of state-sanctioned violence inflicted on impoverished kids who have zero legal rights is hard to stomach, but it perfectly highlights the absolute lack of justice in this universe.

Episode Context

Picking up from Tekkadan's arrival at the Dort Colonies in episode 14, 'Trail of Footprints' deepens the crew's entanglement in colonial labor tensions and exposes dangerous hidden agendas surrounding key characters. Sitting at the season's midpoint (episode 15 of 25), it functions as a critical pivot, escalating the political stakes and emotional fault lines that will drive the back half of the season. This episode directly sets up the revelations of 'Fumitan Admoss' in episode 16, making it essential connective tissue for the arc ahead.
