A brilliant look at how the ruling class frames working-class labor movements as "violent insurgencies" to justify crushing them. The political maneuvering here is painfully realistic and sets up a massive conflict.

Episode Context

Coming off 'Funeral Rites,' where Tekkadan processed real loss and hardened their resolve, Episode 14 pivots the narrative away from deep-space survival toward the political fault lines of the Earth Sphere. Sitting right at the season's midpoint, this is a critical setup episode, the Dort Colonies arc introduces tensions that will cascade into 'Trail of Footprints' and the escalating conflicts that define the back half of the season. Tekkadan's actions here begin rippling outward, connecting their personal fight for autonomy to a much larger systemic struggle.
