Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory

The conflict is further complicated by an undercover deal between Cima and the Federation. All parties are on edge, including Kou and Nina's relationship. Will the colony ultimately fall to Earth?

Unexpectedly, conflict occurred among the Federation in La Vie en Rose. Besides that, I understand Nina's feelings for not wanting Kou to pilot Gundam type 03. But I think Nina's character would have been much better if Nina had been honest with Kou about her real reasons for forbidding Kou. On the other hand, I also feel sorry for Kou who doesn't know anything about Nina's past.

The fight between Kou and Gato in this episode was truly all-out. It was thrilling watching them fight. Furthermore, it turns out there's still one more problem waiting for the Federation to solve. Who would have thought Cima would secretly disrupt Operation Stardust?

This episode once again managed to play with my emotions up and down. Perhaps of all the episodes that have been broadcast so far, the plot in this episode is the most tense, because the Zeon operation Stardust has begun. For viewers who have seen the first Gundam series, they will understand how complicated the war between the Federation and Zeon in Solomon, and now Gato's attack will haunt Solomon once again.

In battle, there are always unexpected events, including the plot twist that occurred in this episode. This episode successfully played with my emotions. Feelings of amusement, excitement, tension, and sadness alternated. The storytelling was just the right amount, not overdone.

Kou finally experiences significant character development, both in his abilities as a Gundam pilot and in his relationship with Nina. Furthermore, despite her brief appearance, Kelly is a crucial character who transforms Kou's mentality as a soldier. What I regret is that Anaheim plays both sides of the war between the Federation and Zeon.

The pace is a bit slow in this episode, but still enjoyable. Perhaps because the plot this time there is no mobile suit battle. Furthermore, starting in this episode, Kou's character development increases drastically. Slowly, his mentality as a mobile suit pilot begins to solidify.

I felt annoyed watching how equally stubborn Nina and Kou were. Nina's stubbornness, in particular, felt like it wasn't worth risking Kou's life to go into battle with his mediocre Gundam skills. On the other hand, I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end when Delaz's speech was delivered in the middle of the battle, witnessed by the entire Federation fleet. Zeon's patriotism is truly undeniable.

The battle strategy between Albion and Zeon in this episode was truly executed brilliantly. Furthermore, what caught my attention was how the plot and character motivations flowed from both perspectives, the Federation's and Zeon's respectively. Here I came to understand that the Zeon remnants were actually just defending themselves and trying to recover from their defeat in the war, even though their methods were wrong because they had stolen the Federation's Gundam.

In this episode, Kou is clearly a newcomer to the world of warfare and mobile suit combat. However, his character undergoes significant development thanks to his previous battle with Gato. Meanwhile, the plot is still dominated by the Federation's pursuit of Gato by the Albion forces.

the pace was just right and they still managed to have the drama & dramatic scenes stirring emotion. despite the limited episode, it really packs everything the gundam series usually have.

the wars sped up and losing their gundam units were a blow to either side.

the tension was rising again, and everyone was pressed. we also finally got a little more on Zeon's side.

i am always prepared whenever watching mecha, but still i'd always feel sad whenever something happens

the romance progressed as the war also progressed and unfortunate things happened

although starts with a refreshing break episode, Kou gained a meeting to broaden his view and let him deal with his struggle about his previous forthcoming

Kou was still immature and reckless while the politic was proceeding
