character depth needed to flesh out the Meisei baseball legacy, especially with the family dynamics. Even if the practice matches felt a bit mid and the pacing dragged in the heat, the rivalry setup is fire. It’s a bit of a strategic info dump, but lowkey necessary for the summer tournament plot. Touma and Souichirou are cooking something special, and the nostalgic vibes are just hitting perfectly.)
The first scene was a mixture of funny and serious. The transition from one scene to another is so smooth. Otomi is carefully watching their puppy. Punch is too cute to watch. Nothing major happened in this episode, but there's a bit of backstory. The sound effects are great in creating impact.
