Finally, we get a little bit (a lot) of information pertaining to the mystery of Taiyo and his family - like, the entire episode was revolving around that, and I love it. We got some reveals, some new leads, some new aspects that are going to be very relevant in future - extremely well fed this episode. I think I'm most curious to see how the revelations towards the end of the episode are going to come back in future, because I sense a lot of potential for interesting developments.

Episode Context

Sitting exactly at the halfway mark of a 27-episode run, Episode 13 pivots sharply from the lighter, character-driven comedy of Episode 12's family interactions into the series' deeper mythology around Taiyo's origins. This episode plants critical seeds for the 'Tanpopo' storyline that becomes a major throughline in the back half of the season, directly connecting to revelations explored later around Episode 19. It functions as the bridge between the show's establishment phase and its more plot-driven second half.
