Episode Context

This episode arrives deep in the final stretch of the series, immediately following Episode 157's romantic muglox-focused story, suggesting the show is cycling through its ensemble cast to give key characters meaningful emotional sendoffs before the finale. Kikuki-kun steps into the lead here in what reads as a deliberate spotlight moment for an otherwise secondary character. Episode 159 then shifts focus again with the arrival of new characters Tako and Panta, signaling this is a brief but intentional pause for character-driven warmth before the story picks up fresh momentum.
