EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

Directly following the premiere 'The Pearl Tear,' which established Lucia's arrival in the human world and her reunion with Kaito, this episode deepens the emotional stakes by confronting the cost of her hidden identity early on. It introduces key relationship dynamics, particularly with Hanon, that will carry through the full 52-episode run. The groundwork laid here around concealed truths and growing romantic tension sets the trajectory for the series' ongoing conflict between duty and desire.
