Episode Context

Sitting at roughly the season's midpoint, episode 19 follows a stretch of more mission-driven installments, including the previous episode's focus on helping Meru reunite with her mother, and opts for a personal, standalone outing for Lucia on land. The introduction of Ryo adds a new interpersonal thread that enriches the human-world side of the story. This leads directly into 'A Love Letter From the Sea,' which picks the romantic momentum back up as the trio investigates a mysterious love letter, reconnecting personal adventures with the series' core romance.
