I think there's some important context for Mekakucity Actors: It is based on a series of Vocaloid music videos, and had a VERY low budget. It is REALLY for fans of the original songs. With that in mind, I do recommend it if you are into angsty teen stories lol.

quite unique about the world setting, just feels that will makes viewer think right from the start (maybe only me?but the story order is bit confusing, have to pay close attention ((just gently remind
