A fitting ending for the series. It is more emotional than triumphant, but that bittersweet feeling suits Mekakucity Actors well.

Messy on purpose, frantic, and emotionally overloaded in a way that mostly works. It feels like the whole series finally collapsing into its darkest truths.

A melancholy fairy tale wrapped inside the main plot. Marry’s backstory is tragic and atmospheric... the old-story feeling makes this one stand out.

Ayano carries this episode.. Warm, painful, and quietly devastating, it gives the emotional backbone behind so much of the story.

Weird, funny, then suddenly unsettling. Shintaro being dragged into the group is entertaining, but the second part gives the episode a heavier feel.

Ah "Kagerou Days" is the song that set off the whole series! One of the weirdest episodes in the series. The looping structure is disorienting in a good way, and the summer-day dread makes it stick in your head.

This one was fun “join the gang” episode. The Mekakushi Dan’s chemistry is charming, and this is where the series starts feeling like a proper ensemble story.

Momo’s episode is bright, chaotic, and surprisingly sad underneath the idol comedy. It does a nice job showing how a power that sounds lucky can actually feel isolating.

I think there's some important context for Mekakucity Actors: It is based on a series of Vocaloid music videos, and had a VERY low budget. It is REALLY for fans of the original songs. With that in mind, I do recommend it if you are into angsty teen stories lol.

mostly about memoir, normally i wouldn't recommend spend time for backstory, but this one is really important, WHY? cuz is about u can understand what happens later or not
