EPISODE REVIEWS

It's so wholesome that Mikuru is sensitive about things. I feel like there's something deeper to look into that hmmm. But anyway, that last scene was totally unexpectec

It's nice that we get to slow down and see Anna's POV on things. Bc if you think about her, her situation is very heavy for a kid to deal with

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 16's guest-detective case with novelist Eliza Kurusu, this episode steps away from external investigations to tend to Anna's inner world, giving her emotional foundation room to breathe before the series scales back up. It functions as connective tissue between the show's procedural momentum and its character work, ensuring Anna feels fully realized before the action resumes. Episode 18, 'Star Detectives Assemble,' brings a larger museum theft case, making this a calm before a more ensemble-driven storm.
