Episode Context

As the series premiere, Episode 1 has no prior episode to build from, making it entirely responsible for establishing the world, the central dynamic, and the viewer's reason to stay. With total episode count currently unconfirmed, it is unclear how much ground this episode is expected to cover, but as the first chapter of what the manga suggests is a slow-building romance, it likely prioritizes setup over payoff. What happens here will define the baseline that every subsequent episode is measured against.
