This is peak entertainment and a great watch. We finally get the full backstory of what really happened, it only took 6 episodes so no biggie. Joe’s final fight in the Megalo Box tournament was a hard watch. You could feel the desperation from Joe, the frustration that he lost his chance to help his partner, the frustration with himself, and for letting his family down. It was rough.
this episode story feels bleak yet introspective. The pacing is weighty, letting emotions settle. Animation stays gritty and grounded, while the music is sparse and sorrowful. Watch for symbolism, inner conflict, and how despair quietly reshapes resolve.
