This episode felt a bit underwhelming to me. It mainly served as the culmination of everything that happened in the previous episodes, bringing all the storylines together and setting the stage for the beginning of the anime's final act.

Koji Kabuto executing a flawless locked target fire showcases his growing precision as a pilot. This impressive maneuver proves that Mazinger Z is not just about raw power, but also advanced targeting systems that can eliminate threats instantly.
