Oh, things are getting INTERESTING. The pacing was honestly a bit stretched here but the animation for the fight and the tension at the start there was nicely done. And we’re finally getting a little upgrade clothing wise, and safe to say I was waiting for this day AHAH.

For viewers who enjoyed the fast tempo and intense fight scenes of the previous two episodes, Episode 7 might feel a bit slow. The episode takes a noticeable dip in pacing, as it's heavily dominated by dialogue, negotiations, and technical explanations about cultivation materials.

The main problem I have with this series so far is that Lin Dong doesn't truly struggle when getting stronger. Obviously, some things come naturally but why is it that he can singlehandedly overwhelm enemies when his elders can't do anything. I get power fantasies but give him enemies he has no chance against to allow greater development Like in 'Soul Land', our main character is has an advantage of his previous life but those with more experience will win out through cultivation and tools.
