Finding out your doctor is the same woman you just fled from at a dating mixer is a total nightmare and the coincidence is hilarious

I really did not expect the show to go this hard on the medical side of things but it works because the situation is so ridiculous, I found it funny how Taika only functions when he is around Ayano, since it gives them such a weird reason to stay together and it feels different from a typical seasonal romcom

Addressing ED as the main conflict is a bold choice and it makes the clinical scenes feel way more intense than a normal romcom

I felt so bad for Taika when he had to go to the doctor for his condition only to see Ayano sitting there after he just ran away from her at the event

Ayano just getting straight to the point about wanting a baby is wild and she does not waste any time making that secret deal with him

The tension in the exam room was high, especially when she started the checkup and he realized his body was finally responding

It is funny how he went from being terrified of his condition to finding the literal one person who fixes it by accident

The animation during the clinic scene looked better than expected and the character designs are really clean

That cliffhanger where he finds out he only works for her is such a classic AnimeFesta setup and it works so well

Ayano is definitely my favorite character so far because she seems so professional yet she was so eager at the dating event

Watching Taika try to explain himself at the clinic only to realize he was talking to his date from earlier made for such a funny scene

Ayano being a doctor who specifically wants kids and then finding a patient with this exact problem is a crazy coincidence

I really didnt expect the doctor to be the same woman from the speed dating event, and the coincidence is hilarious. It makes the whole premise feel more like a romantic comedy than just a typical show in this genre. Watching Taika realize his body only reacts to Ayano was a crazy way to end the first episode, and I want more

I actually yelled when she walked into the exam room and it was the same girl from the party because that timing is just too perfect

The way Taika just bolted from the speed dating table because he was overthinking things is so relatable and sad

Ayano is so direct about wanting a baby and it makes the dynamic between her and Taika feel fresh since she is basically taking charge of his medical problem

I was not expecting the doctor reveal to happen so fast, and seeing Taika realize he can actually function when he is near Ayano was a huge shock. The whole contract marriage thing for the hospital inheritance adds a weird amount of pressure to their relationship, and I wonder how Mimi is going to react when she finds out they are living together.

Taika running away from the dating event because he was scared of his performance issues felt like a gut punch because you can see how much it ruins his life

The animation in the uncensored version is actually way better than expected and that scene in the exam room really set the tone for this whole series

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of eight, this is pure foundation — introducing Taika and Ayano, their individual circumstances, and the spark that connects them. Nothing precedes it, so the focus is entirely on first impressions and establishing the series' core dynamic. It sets up the relationship trajectory and thematic throughlines of connection and personal growth that the remaining seven episodes will develop.
