I feel like everyone has been quite pushy with Shimako over the last two episodes. Still, we finally get some development regarding her relationship with Noriko, and I'm curious to see how the rest of the school will react.

Episode Context

Coming off 'The Cherry Tree Among the Ginkgos,' which deepened Shimako and Noriko's bond under social pressure, this episode turns inward to examine the emotional consequences of that evolving relationship. Positioned at episode nine of thirteen, the season is entering its final stretch, and this installment does the quiet but necessary work of grounding the characters emotionally before the arc escalates. It directly sets up 'Yellow Rose Weather Advisory,' which broadens the focus back toward the Yamayuri Council and the wider implications of soeur bonds across the school.
