the premier immediately establishes a masterful audiovisual identity. the warm color palette and strong musical score create an incredibly intriguing atmosphere that perfectly complements the protagonist's quiet life as a professional shogi player.

Captivating and well-animated 1st episode. The beginning expertly captures the tone and mindset of Rei while injecting levity and humor without detracting from the overall tone of the story. The soundtrack complements their respective scenes.

March comes like a Lion is one of those animes that is deceitfully beautiful at first glance, but hides a deeper and mature story under its surface and the first episode has hints of that with the introduction of a colorful group of characters like Rei and the Kawamoto sisters.

This is the first time I've heard of this anime. I'm not expecting a lot yet, but I got a feeling that Rei has a deep and dark past that could break my heart at any moment. Plus, the soundtrack's lyrics are giving me a hint that it is! Looking forward to the next episodes.

The main character looks like they are alone and confused. Some people can find the slow pace boring but the feelings are real style of the art is simple but it has a unique feel.

The beginning of the story really got me carried away. I like the portrayal of the main character, which felt very relatable to real life.

The start seems gloomy, but the episode is actually very wholesome. It’s surprising, but I like it. The animation is very clean, the art is unique, and the style is catchy and cute. Overall, a very solid premiere—the lore is intriguing, and it’s warm, comfy, and enjoyable.
