Episode Context

Coming off the charged encounter between Ginta and Phantom, this episode functions as a deliberate exhale before the storm, a reflective beat that deepens understanding of the Chess Pieces as individuals rather than obstacles. Ash's introduction enriches the moral landscape of the series ahead of the 5th Battle, seeding complexity into the conflicts Team MÄR is about to face.
