These demi-human designs are so good and Mai getting her turn with the magic element stuff was a long time coming

The way Yasha looks while Taichi is doing his thing is way better than the first episode and the art quality really stepped up here

I think the elf mom Sally is the best part of this one and her scene with the milking was exactly what I wanted from this sequel

The pacing felt a lot faster this time around, and focusing more on Sally was a smart choice because her design is the most unique of the three

The art for the demi-human features like the ears and tails looks really polished and Yasha's scenes were definitely the most memorable part of this one

I really wasn't sure if they could top the first volume, but the scene where Mai finally gives in to the milking process was handled so well. The character designs for the moms are just way better than the daughters, and the art quality stayed really consistent. I'm actually interested in how they'll wake the girls up after getting all the milk

Seeing how Taichi interacts with Mai makes the whole premise feel more personal and the way she reacts to the awakening power is funny

That ritual scene with the sacred milk was way more intense than I expected and the sound design made it feel very different from volume one

I really liked how the colors looked in the scene with Sally and the magic element idea is actually kind of interesting for this genre

The animation on Sally in this part was actually really good and I like her character design way more than the daughters anyway

I think the milking scenes are a bit much for me but the art style is still pretty solid throughout this episode

Yasha is definitely the best out of the mothers and seeing her get flustered during the ceremony was so memorable compared to the rest of the volume

The plot about the girls being in a coma is kind of just an excuse for the fanservice but the character art for Mai is really top tier

that bathhouse scene was so poorly animated and the movements were so stiff that it was hard to even tell what was happening most of the time

That milk scene at the hospital grossed me out because they did not even try to make it look like they knew whose milk was going to who
palla_palla's avatar

Doing that scene in a back alley was so gross and weird, why couldn't they just go somewhere that wasn't a dirty street corner for once

using a gas canister to drain mana from the daughters just to force the mothers into those scenes felt like such a lazy way to handle the plot and the logic makes zero sense
otomachine_oto_497's avatar

I think the animation in this one is actually worse than the first episode and the colors look so flat it feels like they forgot to finish shading the characters during the hospital scene
butch_347's avatar
butch_347
that ending scene where they discuss the daughters staying in a coma really set the stage for more Taichi and Mai moments

i did not expect the production value to stay this high for the second volume especially during the scenes with Sally

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1 introduced Taichi alongside Mai Aoe, Yasha Kijou, and Sally Senga, establishing the emotional and physical groundwork for each relationship. This finale carries those connections forward to their natural conclusion, deepening the bonds built in the opener rather than introducing new threads. As the series' closing chapter, it resolves the arcs for all three central relationships without leaving significant threads open.
