Oshimeter
Synopsis
Although Hyouma Kunato has begun to feel comfortable around Botan Nagatsuki and her family of tsukumogami—objects possessed by spirits called marebito—he has not forgotten about his main goal in life: revenge. Unbeknownst to Hyouma, while he is training in Kyoto under the supervision of the Kadomori family, the Bureau of Traditional Music, a group of three musical instrument tsukumogami, begins to enact its plan. The trio questions Botan's family about their intentions regarding Hyouma's presence near the person embodying the frontier between the human and marebito worlds. Soon after, the paper umbrella tsukumogami that Hyouma had been pursuing for years suddenly reappears and abducts Botan along with her university friends. Rushing to save the one he swore to protect, Hyouma might have to change his priorities if he wants to keep his promise to Botan.

Wow this episode was really both emotional and action packed, that final battle was just chef's kiss. The pacing was such an emotional rollercoaster, from that climax to a well handled aftermath. I think this episode has the best animation in the entire season 2, that fight was really awesome and peak.
It was nice that while this episode focuses on two different battles, they are easy and satisfying to watch, they don't jumble up the fight between the two. The pacing also does a good job handling both battles at a consistent pace. I love the tsukumogami vs tsukumogami here, their power looks visually explosive.
I really like Botan's development here, I won't spoil anything but wow I am so proud of her. The pacing here is dramatic, it spends its time building dread here. Marebito's awakened form here is genuinely striking, it feels very OP lol.
This was a really intense episode, it also does a good job providing new information while also increasing the danger for our cast. The pacing is fast and adds onto the intensity of this episode. The battles here were great, the movements were fluid, and the battles were just awesome in general.
Wow, I can really feel the weight and the tension between each character's decisions here. The pacing here do felt a bit stretched with that recap opening and some scenes felt like they have deliberate transitions. The animation here was okay, it is functional but still somewhat limited.
I can really feel the tension scale up here as a hidden alliance was brought out into the open and also throws multiple groups into conflict. The pacing here also amplified the tense atmosphere, but it also does a good job maintaining the stakes. The enemy's coordinated attack here was actually a smart move and also the ambush scenes were easy to watch and determine who is who.
It was nice seeing this episode set the pieces in motion and allows some cast for some screen time. The pacing here was slow though. We also had a solid action scene, it is surprisingly well animated compared to the previous episode's fighting scenes. The writing is good though, it introduces more about the world like the supernatural politics, and the groups that are involved.
The pacing here took a step back and it felt like a deliberate recovery or aftermath episode. I like how they used this episode as a chance for our characters to settle down and let the consequences be processed. It is funny to see how differently the people around Hyoma relate to him.
This episode has a nice, satisfying fight. I feel like the previous episodes built up for this episode. The pacing was fast, and I like the all out combat with the good choreography.
This sure was a more tense episode, I can feel that there is something in the background that is building slowly but surely. The pacing here do felt a bit slower. The visual quality here still sucks though, but it doesn't really affect the mysterious figure in the background.
I like that we explore more about Hyoma in this episode. The pacing was light and easy to watch. The writing is also good, I like how the writing brought up sides of Hyoma that we don't know.
I like it that they catches up some things here and there and still leaves room for the new conflict. The pacing is okay, it was well balanced between bringing me up to speed and the new threat. The animation here is still quite limited though.
It's the perfect ending for a great 2nd season. The ending was beautifully written and it still opens more questions regarding the mystert of Botan's past as well. Hopefully there will be a new season announced!
There are a lot of action scenes in this episode. This episode manage to let the plot flow smoothly even though the battle scenes do take more priority which I found brilliantly done. The cliffhanger at the end now make me excited for the final episode!
Botan take the center stage in this episode! I like how everyone knows how dangerous she can really be. To see the dynamic relationship between her and Hyouma also make me shed a tears of how loving they are towards each other as well
Action scenes in this episode are superb. Seeing how battle maniac Tsubaki is make me laugh and also mesmerized by how brilliant she is in battling the two major enemies! The cliffhanger at the end makes me at the edge of my seat!
The battle scenes in this episode is very great and epic. So far the best episode throughout the anime. Ryouma and Tsubaki really stole the show in this episode!
Wow this episode blew me away with the shocking twist at the end. I only hope our MC and FMC are fine! Next episode hopefully there are a lot of battle scenes!
The battle scenes in this episode is good. I like how determined Hyouma is in protecting Botan. The pace of the story also seems to move smoothly as well. Let see what will happen in the next episode
This episode pace seems a bit slower than the previous episodes. I guess to give a breathing room and tell more about the plot so that the viewers has a bit of understanding of what they will do now. It seems like Hyouma will have a big power-up incoming in the future episodes!
