I keep coming back to how well this adaptation handles the weirdly sweet relationship between Maki and Seiichi, even when the sisters are trying to take over the scene. The adventure squad stuff was hilarious, and the way they played off each other during the veranda scene felt more like a comedy, and the art is still top tier.
