A spectacular, emotionally resonant grand finale that wraps up the historic television series. The visual production goes completely all-out, drenching the final stadium ceremony in bright, hopeful lens flares and drifting celebration confetti. The animation beautifully captures the absolute joy and fulfillment on Goro’s face, bringing his legendary journey to a triumphant close.
The way this episode wrapped up was good, but it wasn't the best for me. I mean, the development was great, and the major moments were decent, but that's about it. It lacked the excitement and "spark" I was expecting. As I mentioned, it wasn't bad. If anything, it gave me something to look forward to.
Emotional ending for this season. Never imagined that the pacing would go forward so fast and, boom, everything was finally put in its place. The reality checklist was implied and became a solid foundation for the future. I liked how the ending forwarded to the present but just a little too fast without the proper details. The animation all throughout the series was perfect, and this last ep, the art style somehow was rather fine. I will be missing this anime.
