Ahh, these two idiots. I really hate Goro's lack of social awareness, and I also kinda hate that Shimizu didn't try to get an answer. This scene may be minor, but it's a pretty big deal to me. On another note, I'm happy for Gibson Jr. this time. He truly deserved all of this after getting back on his feet. That said, what beautiful craftsmanship on that swing. It was simply satisfying!
What a way for the game to end that way. Both gave their best shots and a possible way to match the father and son's skills. Got a bit of romance there as Shimizu was finally able to reach Goro for the longest time. That zooming animation from the Gibson Jr. hit was smoothly executed! And the heartwarming scene at the end with the two reconciling in a no better place.
