EPISODE REVIEWS
High-contrast stadium environments highlight a massive, official team turnaround. The background artists deliver immense detail within the bullpen cages, contrasting tired veterans with hungry young rookies. The sharp shadow casting effectively hints at the hidden, deep-seated determination brewing ahead of the final playoff push.
Man, I really love emotionally driven episodes. They may not be as flashy, hyped, or epic as heated showdowns, but the character development is just as amazing to follow. You know that feeling of satisfaction after a major letdown? That's exactly what this episode delivers. On another note, I really liked the craftsmanship in this episode. The direction during the scene when Goro and the gang entered the restaurant and how they spread out was especially great.
A rather heartwarming episode featuring the side characters from the Minor League. Watts and Roy were focused on this ep and having the side story of Kelloge's on the sidelines. This was character building for the mentioned players, especially the tone being uplifting as Goro and the others were sharing their thoughts on the future paths. The pacing was still slow, but the animation remained intact.
