What an exciting episode! The beginning of the episode features slow pacing that builds tension. The icebreaker scene by Sengoku was hilarious, though. The soundtrack of this ep was nostalgic as that bass drop that sounds like "Another One Bites The Dust" was heard again from S4 and the other BGM to add to the intensity of the ep. That ending was a cliffhanger and I can't wait to watch more.
The generational clash is pure, unadulterated sports hype. The high energy tone makes it look like a life or death situation. The animation looks stellar, paired with massive character development for the rookies who are desperate to prove their worth.
The direction in this episode is insanely good. It keeps me on the edge of my seat, with blood-pumping music, then suddenly drops that gag, like, LOL! I just love it! But what I love most about this episode is how Toshi pushes Goro to his limits. The tension was simply so good.
