Well, it took five seasons to finally have known it, Goro-kun. But in all honesty, I don't agree with how fast the pacing of the romance in this season is. The tone was completely ridiculous, as the rushed, forced romantic side plot was just too sudden, which made the pacing quite fast. Just one night of thinking vs the five seasons was unacceptable.
The emotional chemistry in this one is absolutely gold. The slow burn pacing provides a cozy environment for personal relationships. The warm tone played as a catalyst for Shimizu's character development as she tries to match Goro's blinding focus.
This episode resolved the conflict our protagonist had regarding his feelings towards Kaoru Shimizu. It's had been for five season and we only got progress in this episode lol. Even though it's a bit late, but it's a welcome progress instead of there's no progress at all. Now we have a new mission that our protagonist trying to accomplish and I can't wait to see his determination in achieving it.
