EPISODE REVIEWS

This was a brilliant character writing episode focused on Toshiya. Never imagined the trauma he experienced and that backstory brought back a dark past that have been stored like in a Pandora's box. The tone was definitely sorrow and emotional, and the perfect pacing was nicely executed, too. And that cliffhanger was a sentimental anticipation.

Things got very risky in this episode as fatigue began to catch up. The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat as Goro was pushing through his limits. The animation properly captures the heavy breathing and exhaustion, providing an intense high stakes tone.

This is such a lovely and emotional episode. To be honest, I thought Toshi would be really stubborn, but I'm glad he's so open-minded. That said, I just can't believe Goro... This idiot is sooooooooooo tactless that I couldn't help but laugh.
