okay so this episode welcome to the real grind goro gets his first taste of what the actual major league talent pool looks like and the reality check hits incredibly hard. the pacing is top tier here and it builds up the massive mountain he has to climb an absolute watch dont even think about skipping this one
The episode was a total reflection of Goro's character. His cockiness gets the better of him, but I like his confidence that never changed at the beginning of this ep. That heated confrontation was so hilarious that I choked up a bit. That was a good move coming from Goro! But the tone at the end was opposite of what Goro was showing at first, which reflected the slow pacing of the ep.
I really enjoyed the mix of comedy and drama in this episode. But what I love the most is how brutally reality crashes down on Goro. Seeing such a free-spirited and carefree guy get overwhelmed by worry genuinely caught me off guard.
