this is a tense championship moment here and goro finds himself in a high pressure situation at the plate ngl and what happens next isnt exactly what he wanted and you can feel that frustration huge tension filled moment
The pacing in this episode was slow burn, but the emotional impact was high. Gibson Jr.'s self-realization building was great, amidst being blinded by grudge, hatred. Well, it was truly expected that Goro's positive side and outlook on life was like that, and felt that sincerity. The tone was definitely mellow, and the visuals able to convey that in the color palettes and backstories.
Huge character development! I really loved it when Gibson Jr. finally understood it. Also, I’ve got to give my kudos to Sanders this time, and to the direction as well. To be honest, I thought everything was over. That scene was simply too tense!
