The pacing for this episode was slowed down. The tone was kind of disappointing as the intensity of the match kind of died down at the middle of the ep. Hence, the music intensifies the energy of the characters, as well as the mind-blowing strategies by Komori. The animation quality as well as the artwork are definitely notably great in the match.

Episode Context

This is a high-stakes, mid-season battle episode where intensity takes center stage. Seishuu High's clash with Mifune High delivers the kind of tightly wound sports drama Major does best, raw determination, shifting momentum, and the psychological weight of competition pressing down on every at-bat. Goro and Taiga carry the emotional load here, with the episode digging into the mental and physical grind that separates good players from resilient ones. Pacing is sharp and relentless, mirroring the rhythm of a real game where every pitch matters. Expect strategic tension, character grit, and the unspoken pressure of a team fighting to prove itself. Fans of character-driven sports episodes will find this one rewarding.
