What an intense episode! The pacing was just perfect, but I think the animation quality dropped after the match, and that wasn't enough to compare with the animation of S1 yet. The character development of Toshiya was unexpected, he literally became unrecognizable. The reactions and acts made by the scouts were great.

this episode brings tension and uncertainty as outside influences begin affecting the game. Pacing stays engaging with a mix of drama and strategy, animation remains solid and the music builds suspense well. Expect tough decisions, pressure and growing conflict

This episode made use of Daigo's character development, and it's great seeing him take responsibility beyond just yelling out play calls. He carried himself in an authoritative manner, which added a lot to how he dominated the opposing pitcher. Love how Andy notices how he developed his arm to throw better.
