Another W for Shimizu! While I can't help but laugh at how the team treats her, I mean, she really sucks, but she's lowkey the MVP in this episode! This is really an exciting episode to watch.

Takeuchi's VA is still distinguished by that over-the-top raspiness but quite resembles Goro's husky voice. The trouble trio was pretty tough and the play was thrilling, but seeing that one character stepped up just made the team also step up their game. The pacing was slow as the team dynamics and each individual grew. That cliffhanger will shift the tone of the series.

A superb episode! To see the conclusion of the match for the first official baseball match for Gorou's team has been spectacular. Gorou and his friends really show good sportsmanship until the end!
