EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode 28's more grounded encounter between Kyoko and Kentaro's father, this episode pulls back to a communal, comedic tone centered on the boarding house residents as a group. Sitting roughly a third of the way through the 96-episode run, it reinforces the everyday bonds that make the eventual romantic developments between Kyoko and Godai feel earned. The next episode appears to push those dynamics forward again, making this a well-placed lighthearted beat before the story refocuses.
