Episode Context

Arriving just one episode after Coach Mitaka's introduction, this beach outing is the first real stress test for the Godai-Kyoko-Mitaka triangle in a social setting, letting all three characters reveal themselves through casual interaction rather than plot-driven confrontation. It builds directly on the rivalry established in episode 9 while keeping the tone light enough to develop the supporting cast. The following episode shifts focus to Kentaro's personal storyline, so this serves as the last concentrated look at the central love triangle before the series broadens its ensemble lens.
