The cat spirit showing up and giving powers right away is such an overdone trope and the writing feels really lazy

I think the art in the very first scene was actually decent but then everything else just looked so cheap and stiff

This is basically a lower budget Sailor Moon knockoff but with a lot more skin and way less logic, especially when you see how fast the plot moves just to get to the adult parts. Rin literally runs into danger to help her senpai and then transforms just to stand there while the enemies take advantage of her and it makes no sense

The piano music playing during the transformation felt so out of place and strange for a scene like that

My brain actually hurt when Rin just stood there as Lilustear after her big transformation and did absolutely nothing while getting grabbed

Rin becoming a magical battle maiden happened so fast and her reaction to seeing hiyama secret identity was probably the most relatable part of the premiere

The villains in this hamelder group are so weird and the way they just target women makes the whole vibe of the show feel a bit uncomfortable at times

Watching Sumire step up as Frostia to protect Rin from those hamelder creeps was great, and I thought the transformation sequence was actually really well done

That lure tornado move was such a strange choice for a power and seeing the way the animation handled the big breasts during the fight was definitely a choice

Some of the art looks a bit meh during the talking scenes but once the combat starts it looks beautiful and those special moves are actually flashy

I went into this thinking it was just another sailor moon clone but the production quality on those battle scenes is actually great. The way Rin gets her powers is pretty cliché, and the adult stuff caught me off guard, but the animation carries everything. Watching Frostia save her from the hamelder army was a big moment for me

Frostia throwing hands like she belongs in jojo was awesome and her fighting style is actually pretty cool

I was expecting a normal magical girl show but then it took a very adult turn and it felt so weird when the cat spirit mii showed up

That fight scene had some serious jujutsu kaisen energy and the animation was much better than you would expect for this kind of show

Rin turning into a magical girl because of a cat spirit was so random and the whole plot feels like a generic sailor moon knockoff so far

I felt sick when the show stopped being a cute parody and turned into full adult content during that first alleyway encounter with the lecherous troops

The art style for the character designs is actually pretty cute, even if the backgrounds feel a bit empty during the fight scenes

Rin trying to be brave and help her senior was kind of sweet but seeing her get pulled into that mess so quickly felt like the worst luck

The animation for the transformation sequence reminded me so much of the old Sailor Moon style but the way the Hamerudah troops acted was just disturbing

EPISODE CONTEXT

This is the first episode of the series, meaning there is no prior content to draw from, everything introduced here is entirely new ground. As the sole establishing chapter, it carries the full weight of setting up characters, world-building, and tone for whatever follows. Without a known total episode count, it is unclear how long the arc extends, but as Episode 1, it functions as the essential baseline for the entire run.
