EPISODE REVIEWS

I think the Second Great Magic War was supposed to be a big moment but the episode didn't quite sell it. The threat here feels a bit abstract and the group's reaction lacks urgency. There is some decent action and the tension does build toward the end, but the ep struggles to make the scale of what's happening feel real.

The invasion by the Ghost Trailers is pure hype, and watching the defensive barriers shatter gives us tension. Takeshi holding the frontline is phenomenal and have good pacing.

Episode 9 is a breathtaking, high-stakes installment that delivers action, emotion, and narrative payoff. This turning point of the season executes flawlessly, raising the stakes for the finale.
