READTHROUGH
The Bloody Floor
The episode opens with a chilling tableau: a dark, circular room, its floor slick with blood and littered with severed limbs. Flickering lights cast long, unsettling shadows across the gruesome scene. A monstrous figure with glowing purple eyes looms over a lone, terrified magical girl. This immediate plunge into horror sets a stark, violent tone, dismantling expectations from the outset.
Koyuki's Dream
After the credits, the cheerful mascot Fav introduces a mobile game, 'Magical Girl Raising Project.' We meet Koyuki Himekawa, a middle schooler who rides the bus with her friends. They dismiss rumors of real magical girls as mere social media fads. Koyuki, however, clutches her secret obsession, a private world of magic her friends have outgrown.
A Shared Secret
As Koyuki gazes out the bus window, the setting sun triggers a memory of her childhood. She'd watch 'Magical Girl Magazine,' mimicking heroines with a toy wand. Her friends abandoned the hobby, leaving her alone with her passion. Then she found Souta Kishibe, a kindred spirit who understood her secret love for the magical world.
Snow White's Arrival
Late at night, Koyuki plays the game when Fav speaks to her directly from the screen. He declares her chosen, her character and gameplay making her ideal. Overwhelmed, Koyuki accepts. A burst of light and sparkles fills her room as she transforms into Snow White, a real magical girl.
First Deeds
As Snow White, Koyuki marvels at her floral costume and new strength. Fav explains her task: collect 'Magical Candies' by helping people. Her first act is rescuing a kitten from a tree, bringing joy to a young boy. Guided by an ability to hear cries for help, she seeks more opportunities to do good.
The Digital Gathering
After earning more 'Magical Candy' by finding lost keys, Snow White is invited to a secret digital chat room. Here, other magical girls, represented by chibi avatars, congregate. She sees Sister Nana, Ripple, and Top Speed, among others, though many remain distant. Fav informs her that fifteen magical girls currently operate in their district.
Meeting La Pucelle
Responding to a message, Snow White climbs a transmission tower at night. She meets La Pucelle, a tall, knight-like magical girl who offers to be her mentor. Snow White is nervous, yet impressed by La Pucelle's confident presence. Under the full moon, La Pucelle begins to explain the responsibilities and dangers of their work.
Souta's Secret
In a surprising moment, La Pucelle reveals her true identity: Kishibe Souta, Koyuki's childhood friend. La Pucelle explains that the transformation can alter gender, but the core person remains. Koyuki is both shocked and overjoyed, reunited with the one who shared her childhood dream. They decide to become partners, their shared past binding them.
The Purge
The mood shifts dramatically as Fav summons all the magical girls to the chat room. He announces that the magical energy supply is depleted, too thin to support fifteen girls. With a chilling lack of emotion, Fav declares that the number must be halved. Only eight will remain, leaving the newly formed community in shock and terror.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Well, the first episode of this series was pretty good. The pacing was still a bit calm since it was mainly introducing the characters. It kind of gives off a modern sailor moon or magical doremi vibe, haha, but I hope it turns out to be just as good.
